interesting points you gathered. But since I do run a well working fullstack analytics team working completely by scrum and still would like to embrace the data mesh methodology I do think you might be missing some important parts of the data mesh concept, in particular that a traditional datawarehouse with a BI solution on top of it can be a regular node in a data mesh.
So a data mesh ain't really an alternative to other architectures, it's more of a framework around other data architectures.
But I do think a lot of confusion stems from the fact that the implementations that are out there do usually have the tendency to "abolish the usual data warehouse". I'm in the process of writing an article on the different kinds of data meshes, going full spectrum, not just the 1-2 points we usually observe ;)
