Interesting, I don't get many of the negative responses neither; That's the point of this article. I've been in favor of the decentralization of data ownership for quite some time now. But I also find it important to understand WHY so many people feel weird about the idea of a data mesh. I think the reason is, that the ideas behind the data mesh suck people into a few fallacies. That of course means that this is not intended by the very idea of a data mesh. The principles & theory is very sound. But the execution is simply hard. Take the article as a helper to avoid a few pitfalls.
